Give me one of my characters and one of yours and I will tell you- no matter how ridiculous the pairing- the following about their first child (if they are canonically a couple with children, I will make up an uncanon child.)
A. Name B. House (if HP; Zodiac if not) C. Circumstances of Conception D. PB (although I'm really bad at picking out PBs) E. Three Random Facts |

I have a really long OTS post IN MY HEAD about things I want to do/see/order people to do but it's long and in my head so it's all going to have to wait a gazzilion years until I have the time to write it all out and not have my head explode.
The next couple of months are going to be EPIC, either in an OMGLOVEYOUGUYS way or a OMGINEEDTOPULLMYHAIROUT way. I'm so hoping for the former because the latter makes me sadface and get grumpy. Not a good thing. It should hopefully be loads and loads and loads of fun though! My hopes are high!
In other news, here's a meme:
Comment below and I will tell you which of your characters that I've played against are my favorites and why I love them. Then repost this in your own journal. |

Name a character (or two) and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal canon. |

Blagh.
I want to write and play and stuff but instead I'm trying to get all the mod admin stuff out of the way asap. Ugh, why did I decide everything needed a revamp? Oh yeah, because it does and I'm annoyingly good about that sort of thing.
At least I've managed to do the faq and the rules, only the cheat sheet, and info pages to go. |

Ask one of my characters a question, any question, and they HAVE to answer completely honestly. Have to. It's the meme rule. Even if they'd normally lie, they suddenly have been hit with a truth serum of some kind and must tell the truth. |

I've been thinking (for the last five minutes) about what an RPG moderator actually should be responsible for.
A lot of the time I find myself going 'I'm not their mother/school teacher I shouldn't have to...' but I'm wondering if I'm incorrect about some things. I'm also naturally curious and want to know other people's thoughts on modding.
As a mod I think I'm responsible for the following things:
- Overall game plot. It's my job to set it up, contact people who are interested and keep it running. - Making sure the game runs smoothly. - Making sure the rules of the game are followed correctly. - Making enquiries about possible rule breaking. - My own activity. - Keeping information up to date. Lists are my bff's. - Solving problems that I either notice or are brought to my attention. - Not publicly lose my temper with any of the players, regardless of how infuriating they might be.
I don't think I'm responsible for the following:
- Individual player's involvement in the plot. I will do what I can to involve as many people as possible, but I can't force anyone to take part. - Individual player's activity. I will post regular activity checks in order to remove people that aren't playing, and in hope that this keeps the game active but it's not my responsibility to make anyone sit down and write an entry. - Telling individual player's they're inactive. I post an activity check, but it's not my responsibility to tell people in advance that they're going to be on it. - Making sure players know everything that's going on in the game. I'll do what I can, but in the end it's up to the player to follow the game's activity. - Having a good relationship with everyone in the game. Being approachable is one thing, but I don't need to talk to everyone every single day. - Make sure everyone is having a good time. If problems are brought to my attention, I'll fix them. But I don't think it's part of my job to ask everyone 'are you having fun?'
These are all I can think of off the top of my head, so what do you think? Do I have it wrong anywhere? Are there things that I haven't mentioned that are or aren't modly duties?

I have no idea if my reaction to Sia's latest drama queen escapades is to facepalm or to scream at something. I'd go into all the reasons why she is very, very wrong but I don't think I want to spend the energy on her any longer. So I'm going with facepalming. Although waking up to that wasn't particularly fun, either.
Can I just go back to bed, please? My tyrannical bed's very comfy. |

This is why I shouldn't be allowed to get bored. Seriously.
( Bullet points of doom on OTS characters )
If there's anything else you want to know about them then please just ask! |
